WOW Awards Report:

Myself and three others attended the third footprint friends, wow awards boot camp, on Wednesday, where we attended media training and eco mentoring. My team attended the very first ‘wow’ awards where we came third and won £1,000 from sponsors powerperfector.

There was, however, never a boot camp stage, missing out on socializing with the teams. The event was held at rapping yogurt farm, yeo valley, where we we’re given not only lots of organic yogurt, but media training from the nice and serious team. We’ve meet the team before but have since grown in size and have improved their equipment (one of the highlights being the slow-mo camera, which can turn you into a shampoo model in no time!) We also received a lecture on presenting and brainstorming from environmental writer and broadcaster Tracy Smith. It was extremely nice that people like Karen Ford and Tracy Smith remembered me and my team and came to us for advice and I’ve added the yeo valley advert above as it inspired us to do something similar!
